Looking for more information...the headstock of my Martin D12-45 12-string has the initials WMS; inside a Custom Shop plate for Steve Fiott.

Steve was in a folk group formed in New Hampshire called the White Mountain Singers. He worked closely with Dave Guard, the Kingston Trio, and was sound engineer on a couple of the very early Kingston Trio recordings...as an example, the White Mountain Singers toured with Dave Guard, the Shaw Brothers, and Dave Guard on the "All Along The Merrimac" tour.

Can anyone help? Always fun to have a little "history" of a great guitar.

Pretty brave to put the initials of your band inlaid on the headstock of your guitar. A D45 no less. Almost like you are daring them to kick you out of the band.

ego, ego, ego...

Appears from Google, they had a fair amount of popularity on regional tours, did the Kingston Trio type folk, had a few albums such as "Round the Bend" as well as their songs included on albums with names we would easily recognize like Tom Paxton, etc.
