| to the hospital. going in for all the pre-op, and surgery is scheduled for around noon or 1 pm.
we both really appreciate ALL of the support and well-wishes, and if it is in your heart please keep them coming.
Alison, glad you like the Crate. I packed it for a bomb-blast and very happy it arrived intact. enjoy it! it's just too much amp for a 900 sf apartment.
these past 3 weeks have been wearing on me since the surgery got pushed back. and I'm pretty anxious.
not worried about the gallbladder surgery, just worried about what else they might find with the other tests and the consequences and diagnoses from them... but I'm trying to stay as positive as I can.
again, Thank you to everyone. I'll see you in a day or two.
Al brought me over the 1778T-5 for a pick me up for my recovery, and was a bonus in the pick/accessory compartment to aid in my relaxation.
Hope for the best for us, and have fun, and play a song for me while I'm gone.
Caravan, I believe your well-wishes were heartfelt and well meant.
I'm sorry the thread turned into what it did. I do appreciate the sentiment.

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Glenn, as always, I send my prayers to you and Char. I will definitely play a song for you. I think I'll try the 1680 with my new Crate. I'll be debuting them both at open mic Saturday night. Gotta go practice you know. And Jeff will be there with his "07C and HIS new Crate. We are writing a new song together and I sure hope we can get it ready in the next three days. |

The GB surgery went well. Glenn wound up with three small upper incisions and a new 'neighbor' near his belly button.
The other tests results won't be back from the lab for a while.
Take care, Glenn... |

Take care, Glenn... Good news. This should be a fast recovery. Just don't watch any funny movies or shows. |

why do you keep registering with a different name? Hi Al, my registration name has been the same since we moved from Melbourne to Malabar and then here to Palm Bay.
I have changed my publicly displayed name from Malabar Glenn, to Palm Bay Glenn, and now to GHessSR...
if there is an issue or problem with this let me know, but it is an option available in the profile setting section for everyone to use, and others also change their public name using the same service, some just temporarily and others leaving it alone.
if it is causing an issue it should be disabled.
Thanks,
Glenn |

Hope it goes smoothly. Actually, I was wondering the same thing about the name change, just purely for informational purposes, nothing judgemental.
The name change does make you a man of mystery.

There's a couple of others that had their places in their names and had to change them when they moved. Now that Glenn doesn't have Malabar or some other place in his name, he won't have to mess with it if he moves. |

| Glenn, good to hear that the surgery went well.
I've been thinking about changing my name to Guitarannie, since I now only have one guitar. However, when I go to the ladies gathering I might end up getting GAS and wanting another guitar....
