Your father was one of the thousands of brave men who brought democracy to many countries in Europe and freed us from tyranny and despotism. Be sure this is also appreciated in Germany. Your father definitely made our life better. Always remember him as a hero and keep the good times in your mind.

His generation left us a great legacy--I wish I could have met him.
My deepest condolences to you and yours,

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | GWB ... My heart goes out to you, and I share your pain as I lost my dad about a year ago also. I can say that we were at least able to spend a couple of "good weeks" with him as he rallied a bit before his death. He was also a WWII vet, and was loved by many. My prayers are with you and your family as you go through the difficult days ahead. May your hearts be filled with many wonderful memories. |

Location: Michigan | i can't say thank you enough to all of you for the kind words & thoughts that all of you are giving to me & my family.
it is really a nice feeling for my family that people from all over the world would take a moment out of their lives to say something comforting to us.
i know my dad so well that i know he is looking over all of you ofc'ers right now and telling us to keep playing hard and having fun and keep the good friendships going like this.
i also know that he would be saying guys & gals can't you turn that volume down....that is dad.
thank you ofc'ers you are stand up people .
