I'd like to get a snapshot of the bracing under the upper top to see what it looks like in there. |

| Nope. Of the Trinity I have the 1537 (non-cut 6-str) and the 1538 (non-cut 12-str). Last I knew, Koenig Kurt had a 1547-1 (cutaway 6-str). If he still does and ever wants to get rid of it I call dibs! (Although the 87C-1 is a nice blingy substitute). |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Well is the 87C actually built the same (with the ply addition in the upper bout)? or not. How about the 1768? is that the same without the walnut binding? i can't believe there aren't more 1547s out here in the OFC. |

As far as I know (and that ain't much) the extra ply was only in the 1537/38/47 series. That may have contributed to the extra mojo. |

Location: Munich, Germany | Serge is right, I have a 1547.
If still interested, I could make some pics of the inner top, as well as some pics of the inner top of a 87C for comparison.
And yes, Serge, someday I'll sell it...
Best regards,
Kurt |

Location: PDX | Yeah i sold mine -- got it from Stephen28 -- worst mistake i ever made as far as guitars go. It's the only O i ever really bonded with. I'm pretty sure tdeej still has his.
The one that got away.

Damn....I have sold off some really special guitars. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I checked my 1768 last night, and there is no additional verneer under the epaulets, but there IS what appears to be some kind of coating there.
I also decided to check under the top of my 07 Collectors and there was nothing but solid wood. BUT ... I did find one of the main cross bracing pieces had come 3/4 s of the way OFF! (unglued) |
