'97 512 CS Florentine cutaway, mahog back and sides, honeyburst spruce top. I have to say, it surprised me with it's tone. I guess a few get out now and then.

Location: SW Washington | actually that mahogany back reminds me of a Hohner I used to keep in my car for a utility guitar. It really was a sweet playing guitar but I gave it to a friend of mine who was wanting to learn to play. He switched to keyboards...I wonder if he wants to give it back? hmmmmm..... It wasn't a cutaway though and I cannot even fathom going back to a non-cutaway now. |

Location: Flahdaw | People on the Ovation forum bash Taylors because people on the Taylor forum bash Ovations. Both offer good guitars. I have played some Taylors at stores that I really liked. Likewise I have played some Ovations that I hated. Oh, who cares. |
