I just saw that Huttlinger has released Vol 2 of How to Play Jim Croce songs. This one has Lover's Cross on it and some other goodies.
I have his first volume and he does a very good job of teaching the songs, with a decent tab book. Wish he printed the lyrics with the tabs, but can't have everything.
Volume 2 is on my Christmas list along with Phil Mickelson's Secrets of the Short Game, so I'll have plenty to do for the rest of the winter.
Michelle, go for it.

Not having much of a voice myself, I imagine that the vocal challenge would match the guitar work! I actually think that vocal technique and basic "how-to's" are a missing link in the world of (popular) music tutorials.

On a song that I know at least the vocal melody, pairing the vocals with the guitar part helps me to get the timing of the guitar part. With tabs it's especially hard to get the timing down, but I think Pete's also have the notes. I'll have to go home and check.

The Mickelson book, does that cover the proper shot from a snow bank? Is it kinda like a big sand trap? and you want the full explosion shot?

Thanks, Mark. I'll be on the lookout for it. I can afford it, now that I missed out on the Tornado that was up for bid on Ebay.

If you don't get it by Christmas, let me know. I got 2 of the first ones for Christmas a couple years ago. Still lots better than when I put socks on my Christmas list. Still trying to wear all those out.
I guess my laptop wasn't working yesterday, cuz my smartass response to Beal's smartass response didn't post. (I played golf here yesterday, Bill. The weather was pleasant enough for shorts, although I wore pants. If everyone keeps thinking that Idaho has crummy weather, I'll be able to walk onto the course whenever I want, just like I did yesterday.) My golf still sucks, though.
