that's Mr. Big, not Bigfoot, spotted lurking in the Arapaho National Forest somewhere west of Denver.

A very special thank you to stephent28 and his lovely wife for the warm hospitality, great company, and superb studio recording lesson.

Picked up (and played) a number of them :D . One's coming home, but I wasn't gonna say anything here since it's not an O or A...

I think that's Shadow Mountain Lake, looking toward Grand Lake. I wanted to go across on 34, but it was closed...

Al, pics sent

Man, that's a NICE pic. I've always wanted to live where there were mountains. My wife's always wanted to live near the ocean. Guess where we live?

I call it blackmail!

Fun Grayson Capps song where G8R laid out a rhythm track, double up a lead track and then sang the vocals.

Eric (who I met that day but Serge knew from buying a nice Collings) came over and jammed a bit and then laid down some little lead lines throughout the tune.

I'm gonna foul it up by laying down some bass and maybe a cajone beat or two and then if Serge doesn't come through with the payoff money, I WILL POST IT!

It was really nice to have Serge come over for a few days and play some of my guitars. I so seldom get to hear them when someone with a bit of talent makes them wail......versus my hamhandedness that I record and play back.

Good times, good food, good drink, good music, excellent company!

dbg - the OFC II is a great guitar, very cool looking, woodier sound than most Adamii - except for the original slothead that's keeping it company.

The desert?

Serge, great picture. Great news on the CJ. Can't wait to hear the GC tune (no Moody, not GOMM ... different GC).

Colorado sure would be a good place to have an OFC get together, wouldn't it? ;)

I have many pleasant memories of times in Colorado, including last summer. It would be a great place for a get together. Pretty easy to fly to for most people.
To bad you couldn't get Mr. Big up to the top of a mountain in Estes Park, Serge.

Who's that wearing the Mr. Big shirt?

Looks like one of the Backstreet Boys (as if I've ever seen one).

Glad y'all had a great time.

I don't remember the last time I was reading the board and burst out laughing, but that's what happened when I hit the "active topics" button and saw your spate of recent posts… outstanding!

I've often thought it would fun to put together an OFC ski trip . . . skiing during the day and jamming in the evening.
