Location: Virginia | I'm sure Ovation must make a parlor size guitar, but their web site does not describe any models as such. So now I ask the guru's! What model # am I looking for? |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | There is a '97 Collector's on ebay right now, but it's in the UK, so shipping might be a problem. I have a 5741 which is the same body, different neck, and it is a sweet guitar. |

Some Celebrities and Ovation US models were made for Japan in the late 90's and after.
Lots of colors and finish were available:

Thanks for those pics!
The first two are Celebrities with laminated tops, correct? The green - wow.
The last one is the Ovation for Japan? |

The bowl in the picture doesn't appear to be a standard parlor, though?
And the one with outies is not in the catalog... |

Location: Paris/France | I'm watching every day the Ovation and Adamas for Sale in Japan ;) and the last one (US Model) is for sale ON YAHOO JAPAN.
160 000 yens (1800$us), no bid and 4 days till the end of the auction.
It's very instructive because I often discover models never seen in US or Europe.
Sometimes I can find an interesting Japanese catalog or brochure and "Kazu" (an OFC member) is kind enough to buy it for me.
That's the "Ovation Family"!!

Sorry to hijack the thread. |
