Thankyou Miles and Michael Wong for enabling it's safe passage Downunder.

Location: Brisbane Australia | I bought this from Wayne Reid (Bluebird).
They were used exclusively by Glen Campbell on his TV show.
My understand was eight were made two or three being 12 strings.
Info below.
Glen Campbell Bluebird
I am told that three were damaged beyond repair and one was stolen.

I've also been waiting a year and a half for pics of that gorgeous guitar in its new home.
I must say, seeing it again gives me some sellers remorse but at least it is in a good home.
You're a class act, Jim!
The electronics are not active on this one (or any of the 6's that I know of). Each of the 6-string Bluebirds seem to have their own unique electronics configurations...this one having Preacher pups, extra stereo output and a mini-toggle that, as I recall, is a coil tap. |
