Oh boy was I afraid the guitar might be damaged during the flight, since I didn´t manage to persuade them to let me take it along in the cabin. But thanks to the ovation case, slackened strings and (I guess some luck, too), the new baby is safe at home now.
Will I ever play the 6-string again, I wonder? Every once in a while, but I am hooked to the sound and playability of the 12-string. That was what I was looking for. And it´s even a bit more friendly to my left-hand finger tips :) Two strings being fretted down seem to distribute the pressure...

Well, just wanted to say I am happy with the new one, and happy to be back :)

Congrats. I'm glad you didn't need to write a song about airlines and breaking guitars. :) There is definitely something special about Ovation12 strings. Many happy days ahead!

I’m happy it worked out for you. It sure is nice to have your guitar back after a flight. Do you know the king and queen of Constantinople?

@leaping legs: I sure wish I knew them :) Do you perchance happen to know them? :)

@stonebobbo: It´s definitely the best 12string I ever had in my hands, and it plays like butter :) And sounds wonderful.

BTW, I looked at the video "United Breaks Guitars" just a few hours before boarding. Fortunately SunExpress doesn´t break guitars (as far as I know) :)
