Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Grandkids are great. We can spoil them rotten and the parents can't do anything about it, particularly if they continue to need our help in other areas. And when they do get fussy and snitty, its time to go back home with Mom and Dad. Last weekend, we were watching our two-year old overnight. He awoke at about 3:00 a.m. calling for me. When I went in, he asked if we could make a pizza. |

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | 4-yr-old granddaugher to me: "Drandgma, will you do me a favor?" "Of course, Sweetie, what would you like me to do?" "Well, can I come over to your house to play?" ("Drandgma's" heart is now a melted pool of mush on the floor.) So...she and her sister will be "playing at my house" Saturday afternoon.
Thou new grandpa, if you think you're mushy now, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Just wait 'til she calls you by whatever name she deems just right for you....
