What can I say, this last year has given me the opportunity to try some fine new (to me) guitars, to make some great trades and to upgrade a few models I already owned thanks to Dave, Paul, Mike, Robert and others.

Although I must admit the Nationals will always be my first loves, my first non-resonator was an Ovation I purchased back in the late '60's and I've never wanted for any other brand.

So now the last empty hanger of this ovation collection I been dreaming of has been filled and these ladies aren't going anywhere!

Model #1 – Balladeer 144
Model #2 – Deluxe Balladeer 588
Model #3 – Classic A284
Model #4 – Josh White A124
Model #5 – Balladeer 12-string A276
Model #6 – Contemporary Folk Classic-black bowl
Model #7 – GC Deluxe Balladeer B265
Model #8 – GC 12-string A583

The only problem now is deciding which one gets played tonight...

Glad it worked out for you! That's a pretty awesome lineup and I know you've got some real good examples there.

The answer to your question is simple ... all of them!

That kind of happens anyway. As you are well aware, playing any one of these anywhere close to the others causes all of them to want to chime in. Makes for an interesting chorus though...

Guess I'll have to get one of those digital cameras now, then figure out how to use it, then set up an account on the ning site, then figure out how to load photos, then figure out how to do links from there to here...

Jeez, I thought FINDING some of these guitars was the hard part! Now I've got to do pictures?

The next version of the iDea pre-amp should have a built-in camera so our guitars can take pictures of themselves… ;)

God No! There would be too great a chance of it getting a picture of me and that wouldn't be pleasant for anyone..

Kotadawg - Yes, I have a tornado, a couple of solid body vipers, a breadwinner, 12 string preacher, UKII,a 1613,a 1615, couple of 1618's, K-1111 & 1114 re-issues, and on and on.
And don't get me started on the Nationals.

But the dream (list) was to own a prime example of each of Ovation's original 8 shiny bowl models; which was finally fulfilled this year.

Don't worry about that - it's proudly displayed right in the center! That glow just makes them all shine!

Winged 12, an A braced legend, and a UTE. That's a great summary of O history.
And a fine looking pooch too.

My rules for hanging guitars:
1. Hercules hangers.
2. Attach hanger to studs only, no anchors.
3. Out of reach of little hands.

Now that I have pompously stated this I am doomed for an accident :)
