Location: Huntington Beach | Confirmed today that I will attending NAMM again this year and would like to meet up with anyone who will be there. I'm in the marketing and graphics biz and have done past and present work for: G&L, BBE, Barcus-Berry and PSSL. I usually attend the breakfast sessions - interesting speakers like Gene Simmons, Bob Taylor, Henry Steinway - and in 2008 Kaman CFO and Fender's Bill Mendello announced the deal. I recall hearing "no major changes". I'll post pics of interest. Later. |

Location: Tennessee | Mike ... I'll be there, along with a number of other people who frequent here. There is usually a couple of gatherings, including a Thursday night event in Orange County where a lot of folks get together with guitars, wine, beer, food and other assorted party favors. PM me your contact info, phone/email and we'll be sure to get you into the loop of the events on that side. There are usually several of us who troll the floors to check out all the new and cool gear, and then one guy whose sole purpose is to gather swag and kisses. It would be cool to hook up with you. |

I've been pushing Beal, but he was here 4 years ago, and to come again would violate his "Once a Decade" rule (but he should come just for the party)...... |

Nothing. It's under cover in the garage along with the little Honda. My brother lives only about a mile from the Anaheim Convention Center and he just bought himself a Harley, so I'm trailering the bike out for the week. We'll do some riding, playing (he plays a very mean blues harmonica), and a visit to NAMM. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Hey Miles, Anaheim isn't too far from Long Beach, and they have temporary end-ties on the public dock, so why not? All you need to do is put it the water, turn left, then keep land in sight off your port side and you'll have it made . . . after about, what, 1,500 miles? |

Yeah that's pretty much the driving directions..(minus the water part)... Go to end of street, turn left onto I-5.. Exit 1200 miles later. Did it once... that was enough. Took several days due to snow and ice storms along the way. Pretty much same reason that it's not a bike trip. Too much snow that time of year between here and there.
Kindofa weird trip really... Leave on a relatively warm sunny weather, and arrive in warm sunny weather... get stranded in ice and snow storms along the way. |
