Location: Paris/France | Hi,
You probably remember my friend Joël who has ordered some month ago the Adamas Orange with blue epaulets.
As this guy is completely crazy :D , he has decided some weeks ago to ask to the same Artist whom has painted the epaulets from his orange to do a complete job on his Adamas II black cutaway.
Some of you will love and the others will hate but for sure this is not the same guitar and she is now called "Adamas Bubbles"...
I love this guitar and the painter has done a great job!!!
Joël should send me more pics in few hours and I'll add them ASAP on O.T.
J :)
THE PICTURE IN HIGH REZ!!

If that artist was local I might have him do a few for me! |

So, now I know, next time I hesitate to buy a blue Adamas, I'll buy it anyway, send it to you and have it redone!

Best regards,

Kurt, here are MORE DETAILED PICTURES so you can see that she is more white than beige with a very clear blue in the center of the top.
I really love that color even if you should not have dirty hands when you take it... :D

Location: Colorado | Very well done. Perhaps Kaki's bubble epaulets were the inspiration? No matter, this is a nice piece of work. I'm with Stephen--I would have mine done if Joel were closer. |

Location: Right now? | THAT is very brave and very nice. What kind of paint did he use, Jerome? Do you know? Also, once painted, is it laquered over or what? It looks very good. I'm also wondering how he taped over the parts he didn't want painted with such precision. Very, very creative and excellent work.

Location: Paris/France | I've asked to Joël about the kind of paint used.
The painting is made with an airbrush and all the part are covered with tape like usual.
Look at these pics during the process.

Don't need all that stinkin' tape tho!!! |
