Get some wood, cut it out, glue it together with some clamps, add your pre-made neck, and voila - you have an Ovation replica?
Pretty low opinion of O's.... |

Location: Upper Left USA | Reminds me of a Bill Cosby routine where he talks about saving his money to send for the "Clipper Ship" model sold on the back page of a Comic book (must be over 45 to remember this).
When he got it the "kit" was a block of wood and an exacto knife with directions that said "carve block of wood until it looks like the ship on the back of the comic book. |

Wendy: Today Alan will teach us how to play the flute.
Alan: Yes boys and girls. First hold the flute like this, then blow in this end, while wriggling your fingers up and down the holes.
Wendy: Wonderful! And next week Alan is going to teach us how to solve world hunger. |

No, it probably won't look much like an Ovation, when finished.
Just get an old Applause beater & a bottle of Elmer's. Yeah, that's the ticket. And, the zeitgeist of the BFLG. |

"Now, I’m not saying you’ll get the exact same quality of sound but boy oh boy, you just built an ovation guitar replica (or at least a wannabe)!!!"
And I apparently missed the part about making the bowl  |

Location: New Hampsha | I can't figure that site out - there's a lot of work on that site, and it's pretty nicely delivered.
But the information is so shallow - a mile wide and a millimeter deep. |

Location: Austin | Hi everyone, lol, I'm glad you all got to check out one of my articles. Seems like it might have been a dumb idea lol. My grand daddy use to make guitars in Mexico and I wanted to learn how to do the same. Needless to say, I wasn't very good at it. I love Ovations which is why I gave it the catch title, but to be honest, it doesn't match up lol at least not the one I made. I think I will put some pics up later of the project when I find them.
On the other hand, thanks for the comments on the site, I tried my best to display the information well. I'll work on making the information more informative, more depth, less width. |

Your site is off to a great start - it has Professional presentation and shows a lot of promise. Keep beefing it up and it will be fine. In the meantime, like MW says, buy a few guitars and ou can write a bunch more reviews! |

Location: Austin | Yeah, I'm looking to get a 12 String, I'm looking to get some friends to write reviews for me since I haven't touch all the ovation guitars. In any case, if anyone here is interested in writing a review and wants to make 5-10 bucks or something let me know.
I'm in the process of writing three or rather breaking one re view about the celebrity into three parts.
Any takers?
Tony
