The problems are too numerous for this type of public poll to be taken seriously. First and foremost, the definition of "best" is left to the subjective interpretation of each respondent. There is no agreed-upon single definition or set of criteria used as a standard basis against which all models are uniformly and objectively measured and evaluated. Secondly, I would argue that for the majority of consumers, "best" includes some consideration of cost, which then leaves the definition to be more about what is acceptable or desirable (again, for whatever reason) at a given cost, or within a specific cost range. Instead of "best", the poll is more accurately measuring brand popularity among a very limited number of persons, i.e., only those responding to the survey, who likely possess very limited experience with or knowledge about all models across all manufacturers. Interesting information, maybe, but no validity whatsoever as an indicator of "best."

I voted... But this is more a list of the Top Ten guitar Advertisers.

Hamer is #30... But First Act is #26 What do you think?

Squier #18 is better than Martin #19?

Looking through the list, Parker Guitars are #43...
I have two Indonesian imports that are better than many more expensive USA guitars.
USA Parkers are light and made outta exotic materials and start around $2,222 new.
I imagine the people that buy them don't do polls! :p

Yeah, 'crowd sourcing' data is sooo very useful and accurate. That's why news shows do man-in-the-street interviews....to get the really really real facts.

Hey... Ovation has moved-up to #11!

But I think it would take a concerted effort to move it up to around 4% to pass Kramer.

Hamer is #10 on the "Best Guitars of All Time" list...

I really had to laugh when I saw Taylor down on the #24 spot, with First Act right behind them.

I know, I know ... some of you here like Taylors, and if they would sell their 914 models for what I can buy an Ovation, I would probably consider one as a backup (:
