Location: Yalova/Turkey | Sometimes I wish I lived in the USA... Lots of folks making very nice music... There´s a saying in German: "Wo man singt, da laß Dich ruhig nieder, böse Menschen singen keine Lieder" (Where they sing, settle down untroubled, bad folks don´t sing no songs, my clumsy translation)... Guess there is some truth in that... |

Fine group of young talented musicians with a great old time string band sound. |

Speaking of Wagon Wheel, here's a picture I snapped with my iPhone when they performed the song at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco about a year ago. On stage with them for this song was Sara Watkins (of Nickelback), her brother Sean Watkins (of Works Progress Administration and Nickelback), and Benmont Tench on the keys.
And AH ... just for grins ... my boys were big fans of the songs and wanted to cover Wagon Wheel, so we did. Max has got the mando and vocals, Dane is doing bass and vocals, and I've got guitar, harmonica, and lead vocal. Did it in one live take.

I thought Nickelback sounded a little odd in this discussion... |

Location: the BIG Metropolis of TR | No problem Bobbo...I was just messin' with you 'cause I know you knew the correct name of the band, it just didn't make it to your typin' fingers!
From past tours and get-togethers (and the Insomniac pop quiz posts ;) ) I know you have very diverse and eclectic taste in music.... |
