The UK II just arrived from Oklahoma City that Damon originally posted here, and all I can say is I'm overwhelmed. It's in better condition than even the salesman said it was, included all hang tags, owners manual, warranty registration card, and stereo cord in the original case which is also in great shape. Everything works and it sounds heavenly. What a GREAT guitar. Thanks Damon for posting this one! I'll get some pics up after I get a chance to clean her up a little.

Turn up the amp to 11, dial your vol knob all the way to the right, and wail away.

Here's a couple of poor pics I just snapped. Can anyone pin down the year of this thing. The site puts it at between '75 and '80. SN E12750

I actually plugged it in to the Marshall, but it's so hot, I couldn't get the amp very high. The wife left the house. ;) :p

Just tell her you're "dusting" and checking the Weather seal on the windows.

Too bad. Numbfingers might have actually enjoyed playing it, instead of just buying it and turning it around for a quick profit.

I've yet to see TJ sell a git to an OFC member for any profit. In fact, I've seen him sell several at a loss so the member could afford to buy. Plus, he plays those he owns.

Real nice oblique critique...

With TJ getting into electrics lately, I'd be willing to bet this will be one he'll keep. The UKII is, in my opinion, the very best electric guitar Ovation ever made, and one of the best ever made by anyone. (But if you ever do decide to sell, keep me in mind. :D )

Totally agree. TJ plays them then passes them on for someone else to enjoy. He's not in it to make money.

Slat-Fat, that's a nice twist on that one.

Or is it just Falstaff mispelled?
