1597 SMT or W597 CVT?

I was unimpressed by the W, but: The Millennium (which is basically a tarted-up W597?) sounds better than the 1597. I am completely happy with my 1597, then when I saw yours, which is in better shape, I started look around at that price point. I'll be up for a week (Black Cat Island in Center Harbor) in August. I have a friend with a place there. We should get some bowls together for a BBQ. ok ok... anyone else enjoyed both these guitars?
