Great design. Cliff, was this yours? |

The Al Guitara Band closed the Brad Davis show at Indigo Alley. The band tried to stop several times but even tho the place was closed people kept coming in and insisting that the band keep playing.
The band surprisingly made some pretty good money from the appreciative crowd. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | THE LAST FIRST
Monday night after everyone had gone back there was a suprise birthday party for Joe Warwick at Sandy Bottoms out at the beach. All who showed up were the Wednesday night singer songwriter mainstays. The Birthday was a suprise and a way for all us regulars to say Thank You to Joe for providing a venue and reason to write and play songs. For many of us it was the first time we'd ever played and or sang solo in front of people. A terrifying event until after it's past.
I played my tune and then had AJ (I told Joe he came all the way from Austrailia just for the party) join me for one, and then AJ did one by himself. It was very good. Then he told us all it was the first time he'd ever performed solo in front of people. Kind of fitting to have his first at an event celebrating a great place, where many of us started, that is no more. He got in just under the wire.
Great Job AJ! |
