Location: Phoenix AZ | None of my business, but just curious why anyone would want to do that - intentionally shut down a thread that obviously brings others a lot of enjoyment (or they wouldn't have posted 8000+ times). Unlike so many other threads, seems to be that the "quiz" is 100% music related, and doesn't violate a single forum rule. Last I checked, clicking on it was not required.
I used to feel strongly about the use of those stupid smiley faces. I petitioned the moderators to ban their use. It just seemed like a stupid use of bandwidth to me. But I guess a lot of people like them, so I was advised to stut up and not prevent others from enjoying the site as long as they broke no rules. OK fair enough. Now I just ignore the smiley faces or avoid topics that have a high probability of being riddled with the damn things.
Anyway, y'all do what you want. It's an internet forum, not like it's real life and death or anything. |

Sure, some of the songs were silly or downright retarded but there was also a lot of great music that was previously unknown to me.
The thread has enriched my listening experience and provided me with a pleasant diversion. |
