Check out the last page of the latest issue of Vintage Guitar.

A certain professorial member of the OFC got a picture of his man-cave published!

Congrats!

My wife thinks I'm a professional OFC member too. Oh wait... professorial.

If ever a man-cave deserved it, it would be that one.

This is the one they ran. Fortunately, it shows a few of our favorite models.

When I die, would you keep my ashes there?

Maybe formed into a concrete amp riser?

Looks like a great place to get stuck in for a couple of decades. The worst part of that whole deal is that the dude can actually really play all those guitars and amps. He's a lot more go than show.

Well done.

And he's got plenty of show. I'm just sorry we didn't have time for me to wear out my welcome. Brad and his wife showed me the cave, fed me, let me watch and listen and try to follow Brad as he played, all the day before they left on a trip to Europe. OK, I probably overstayed my welcome, but they didn't make me feel like it. Nice folks.

I just wonder where Brad stored all the equipment that made it possible to have part of an empty floor showing.

I've been there more than a few times and I have NEVER seen that much floor space.

You guys are really kind. I just moved the center floor stuff out of the way for the photo shoot. Those guitars hanging on the rack are sticking out almost two feet. The crap on the racks and walls seems endless, and this is only one corner of the room. All this gear and my practice regimen has changed to "down-down-up" on the silent and very convenient Traveler. It seems like obtaining the guitars was the easy part. The neon signs are more difficult to find. Fortunately, when I started collecting them, there weren't very many people with a similar interest.

I forgot to mention what a great job you did on your back yard. I didn't want SWMBO to see any pictures of that or our backyard would be added to my list of projects.

Whoops... that was John, right?

Nonetheless, one day I'd love to hibernate in Brad's 'cave just for the mojo!

I agree and it is awesome Brad...
My office is not quite that lit up although it's a start..

After managing a Music Store for three years and owning one for four more, I kinda got OD'd...and the fact that I have no more room at the moment: nearly every closet is full of guitars and gear and every room is close to being the same way...it's a sickness...but the only threat of death from it is when SWMBO gets that "look"...

So my Man Cave has spread to the whole house...but Beal knows all about that...I'm still able to use my shower...for now...

HA! Great pic there Brad, congrats!

I just sent the pic to my gal, and said "See, I'm not so bad after all"

Her reply....

Although this may be extreme.... This doesn't make yours "OK". I don't want to hear that Billy's Mom lets him have a club house so you get one too.

Nice to be back Stephen...the voice still has not returned but it is trying...I do not recommend major surgery...if ya gotta, ya gotta...but man, the older ya get the harder it is to bounce back...that said, my neck and shoulder pain is history for the most part...I still have several pesky disc's that act up from time to time but the ones fixed during the surgery are doing great...sorry to have missed Amelia...

Glad to hear you're on the mend MM.

Has there been a thread with photo's of people's "man caves/rooms"?

I did a quick search, but couldn't find any.
