I have found out about very talented musicians I either overlooked or never heard of through this website already and always look for more.
Any recommendations? |

But whatever, to each his own.
I would have to say I like Layla better than "Banner". But favorite has many definitions and they change with the years. I'm still looking for the best that I've ever heard and there is always a new favorite.
It was interesting looking up the history of Paul Mauriat. |

Location: Colorado Springs, CO | Well this is not my favorite song but this is about something close to a duck and I'm sure there is a guitar under the piano somewhere or at least onstage. I do think this guy deserves a pass for playing guitar at woodstock though.

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Yep, thanks Iffy, that's the one. That is the most soothing song I know. If I were sick and I listened to that, I swear I would start feeling better right away. And Randy was kind enough to allow me to learn it and play it in public - on a Dango! (Um, that's kinda like a cross between a dulcimer and a banjo.) |

I have a request of you, or suggestion. Perhaps you can do a better quality video of that song and put it up for us to enjoy.

Love her voice. There it goes:
The Loneliness Dance
Loneliness is lava that covers everything
It’s the sour in my mouth, it smiles with lead teeth
Loneliness, a word carved on the heart
Submissive and speechless in the rhythm of disillusion
Disillusion, disillusion
I dance, you dance
In the loneliness dance
Camelia became a widow, Joana fell in love
Maria tried suicide, because of her lover
My father used to say: “Son, be careful”
When I think about the future, I can’t forget my past.
When dawn approaches, my thoughts wander
I run my fingers through the guitar, gazing upon the full moon
Despite everything, there is a fountain of pure water
Whomever drinks of it will never be sour again |
