I know, weird title, weird dude, makes sense. I wanted to post a video that I made the other day at my kitchen table, rather cheaply, showing off my Ovation guitar. I know the guitar is not one of the nice ones enjoyed by many of the respected members of this board, But, I love this guitar. It's the only Ovation that I could afford, a 1988 1517 Ultra. I really love these guitars and maybe some day, I will own an Adamas. :)

Luke, rule #1 is never apologize for your guitar!

Nice performance.

That's not so weird compared to Weaser's tribute to Charo (banned from Youtube)

Everything Old is New... Most people alive today don't ever know who Nancy Sinatra is.

+1 Nice Performance

Great performance Luke! The camera loves you.

+1 on FlySig's comment, owning an Ovation means never having to apologize for your gear.

That extra banana did me in.

Nice work, Luke. And FlySig's right - never apologize for your guitar. Sound great from here.

Thanks for the input fellas! I do love the guitar and everything about Ovation guitars. What a great site this is. It reminds me of how Jeep folks share a common bond, very cool. Thanks for checking out the vid and the kind comments.

Luke, I also own a 1517 deluxe and love it.
It has a really nice sound to it which I prefer over other most costly guitars (included some O's ;) ).
BTW nice performance.

PS : I think the ultra have a mod. A bracing but maybe I'm wrong.

Nice! For the young'uns around here, tell them it's a Jessica Simpson tribute. Good music has a way of spanning generations.

My first Ovation was an Ultra. I still have it and it made a guest appearance on a recent recording. No apologies.

Now dang it, that was fun! That Ultra sounds great.

<So help me, I heard some Sonny in there... What did you do with Cher... never mind... Ya don't need her!>

Good job Luke. I would like to do a vid one day but, I have a face that is only good for radio and I would have to do the Millie Vanillie voice thing.

Hmmm! I guess I got nothing. lol Reality Sucks! :D
