Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba CANADA | I just wanted to thank everyone that PM'd with advise and offers and to let you know that I managed to find exactly what I was looking for... a 1982 1688-2, which will compliment my 1687-2 very nicely.
To those of you that thought my offered price was unrealistic... I managed to get it for what I was offering (+ PAYPAL fee...).
And in support of the argument I was making (that the price of these has recently been artificially inflated...), I also lined up a second one (also a vintage 1688-2...), just in case. The seller of the second one (whose counter-offer of 1260 Euros is still open...) would probably be happy to hear from you if you're looking for one of these. As soon as I take possession of the first, I will make the location of this second 1688-2 available for anyone that might be interested... Thanks again!! |
