That would be the (un)Official Adamas 1680 Sara Jane Signature model. She has a couple of shows in the next few weeks before graduation, so I couldn't stand not giving her an early graduation gift.

Very cool, but with a five piece neck, multip part epis and painted top with sparkles, how is it a 1680 and not a UTE?

Argh! You're right. Somehow I got 1680 on the brain today. It is indeed a U681T UTE.

Yea, I was gonna say that 1680 bears a remarkable resemblance to my UTE. Great gift and the guitar of my dreams, I feel blessed to own one.

I had a serious brain cramp on the model number for some reason. I did in fact label the case correctly, whew!

Because she should have an exceptional gift, she got the upgraded 9158 case with the large white OVATION on the inside of the lid and a nice padded handle. Bill Nichols made the truss rod cover which is an exact replica of Sara's signature inlaid in brass in ebony. I don't know what kind of magic the man possesses but it is powerful stuff. The TRC is a work of art at an amazingly affordable price.
