Location: South of most, North of few | Here\'s a clip of Serge playing a song from his new album on his newest acquisition, a Gibson beauty. Only thing is, his name is the same as "Mr. Gay Europe", so try not to confuse the two. (not that there's anything wrong with that) ;) |

Location: Tennessee | Nice playing, Serge! You even got a bit of "guitar face" going there. Let us know when the new album is released ... I'll want to add one to the collection. |

Location: Chicago | Super! Nice changes and engaging rhythm playing. I started looking around for a bass to add the line; I hear some bangin' percussion in the future of this tune (along with vocals? a lead line?) All signs point to "yes!" |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I was fortunate to do some business with Serge and received one of his CDs in the deal. It has remained in the jukebox ever since. I still kick myself that I didn't grab his Martin OM-42 when given the chance. Great talent, and I'm honored that he hangs around these forums with the rest of us clowns. As Bobbo says, please let us know the new album is released. |

| Look up "exquisite touch", "great feel for...music", and "silky tasteful lead runs" and you'll see a picture of Sergio Lara. Magnifico, mi amigo, pero no espero meno. |

Location: Texas | Thanks guys, for the kind words.
This was a photo shoot yesterday and he asked me to play something for video.
It is just a rhythm for one of the tunes, just one section, and of course there is a melody on top.
My new band is a jazz quartet and consists of: guitar, bass, horns (tenor and alto sax and flutes) and afro/latin percussion (cajon, bongos, congas, timbales, shakers, etc).
We start tracking next week and hope to have it ready soon.
I will be playing electric guitar exclusively and it is a Custom Gibson L-5 Wes Montgomery with flatwound strings. Incredible neck and plugged in tone.
This video is just the guitar acoustically without plugging in.

L5 - the real thing - unless I'm mistaken. (Which did happen once - a sunny day in June, 1968 I believe....) |

| OK - I should have read all the way to the bottom before I posted.
Another mistake.
Looking forward to June Serge. |
