Location: South of most, North of few | Just got the Tak EF417S in after UPS deemed it "lost" as of yesterday morning. It did show up with no issues, thank God. This thing sounds intoxicating and plays like the proverbial butter. Sorry for the crappy pics, but I'm too busy playing it tonight.

Location: South of most, North of few | Actually we use the fireplace in the winter as soon as it gets below 60 deg. The wife thinks it's romantic. ;) BTW, she was supposed to mow the grass today. She is in the dungeon as we speak. :D
I know, I need to restring it and wind the strings correctly also. |

Now get back in there and gather some review data.

Bout time somebody listened. Yeppers. They get almost the same respect as Ovations among the stove knitters, but they sure have the working musicians' market. Just watch the CMAs some time. Congrats TJ. |

Location: South of most, North of few | Thanks guys, I have owned a few Taks, and this one is absolutely the best one yet. I've had another guitar with the same tone woods, and it didn't sound as good as this one. |

Location: South of most, North of few | Yeah, I plugged it in for a few minutes tonight, and it sounded pretty nice. TLD amp, kind of like the FD. No controls, just plug and play. I've heard they only made 60 worldwide. I also heard the production number is on the neck block, but that's where the battery holder/amp is, so I can't see any indication there. |

Pop over to the Tak forum and ask Mike Markure. |

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | Well, I remember that the Tak website listed it as a standard production model, but then mentioned that only 60 would be made worldwide....hence the confusion.
Seems as though somebody got one and said they had number 62 or 72 or somewhere around there.
Mike would know for sure. |

Put your foot down and tell her you refuse to buy any more guitars until she cuts that lawn! |
