Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | What models were each of the Flag motiff guitars? How 'bout some pictures of the different ones? I can't find any on the Ovation archives site or the Ovation tribute site. I've been asked to do special music on the 4th of July, so I'm starting to have GAS paings again. |

| Wasn't there a thread about this not too long ago.
Anyway, the best flag graphic I've ever seen is the Ovation one. |

I have a plan up my sleeve though. Vince, you are a true GAS-oholic! GAS-oholics always have something up their sleeve :) .
I went looking for a toy guitar for my 5 year old niece. Of course, that meant a trip to GC and Daddy's "just to check out the little guitars" but I somehow also ended up trying out som adult sized guitars. Hee Hee!
This is a pretty guitar, but I think I would like it better without the "blingy" binding on it.

Michelle ...
I LOVE the Bling! BLING, BLING, BLING.
I would have liked to see them do the fret markers in little inlaid abalone STARS! That way the neck would match the bling of the binding inlaid bling. Maybe some day I'll have a custom done that way (: |

The star fret markers are even fancier than they appear in the photo, but you get the idea. According to Takamine's product manager, this model set the standard in bling for a production guitar from Takamine, albeit a limited run of only 80.
Gibson's Chet Atkins SST model also has star fret markers, but not quite as fancy.

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Yeah, That's the idea, but I'd like them to not be quite that large, and arranged like the traditional CL layout. Then on the 12th fret maybe have the "Don't Tread on Me" Snake-thing. I'd call it "The American Revolution Guitar"
(ooops ... Did I just say something political?) |

Prior to getting mine, last year I was told that there was a 'flag' on the MS shelf. Well, I contacted John and, alas, just a rumor... |

They have 2500.00 on this one. If anyone is interested, I can help out with procurement and shipping. It is a GREAT sounding guitar. |

| A glass parking lot in the middle east motif would be kinda cool - maybe have a few oil rigs in there to get the graphics working - that’s one I would buy for sure. |

Location: southeast michigan | Allen Park, MI Guitar Center has a 1777 w/American flag as of last Saturday evening, it's used and they are asking in the neighborhood of $1100 for it. However, the neck is lifting from the body (about 1 mm) and there seems to be 2 small cracks at the cutaway near the rosette. Plays and sounds alright though. |
