Do NOT trust Dobro. Ever! |

Taste of Chicago Festival
If we make the Hot Springs trip, this would be a great stop on the way back! |

Location: Chicago | Thanks, Crimson. Actually we "accompany" Los Lobos on June 29. They and LL Boys are on the main stage while we get an hour on the second stage in a series with local talent. We are excited! |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Hmm. I wasn't planning on being in Chicago until Wednesday, but this might be worth a change in plans. As SWMBO says, "some of those guys (on the OFC cd) are really good!" Translated by me: "What are you doing hanging with that group?" |

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, are you listed somewhere? What's the name of the stage and time you go on? |

Location: Newington, CT | Oh, and one more thing -- a quick update on your CD...one of the most frequently played that I have! Really great work! Those here who haven't asked you for one are missing out on some great material.
No weak spots whatsoever; great songs; strong playing with flash and feel and touch and power. You and your Guitars of Fire bandmates are world class talents.
(Apologies if this ends up making you send more of those out, but everything I said is true!) |

It took some searching, but I found a couple of Taste of Chicago sites that list Guitars of Fire on the Best Buy Stage (near the Petrillo Music Shell) at 2. It looks like they got better billing than some of the bands at other stages. Should be good. |
