I saw on Big Al's newsletter that he can get good prices on some clearance items. Among the items were the 1777, 1778, 2078, 2077. Are they ending new manufacturing of these items? Or are they just getting rid of certain colors they have already produced? New models on the horizen? Just wondering.

Auriemma, go to the LostArtVintage web-page to subscribe to the newsletter. (Start with "Links" at the top of this page.) You'll see an old issue displayed, (Al?) that's not the one Englishplayer is referring to. The new one is the May 2010 issue, it is sent via email…

Englishplayer, I don't know what the "clearance" implies either, (if anything…) But I do know that any bargain-hunters out there looking to snag a brand-new, high-quality, USA-made Ovation, should contact Al right now, and have your credit card ready…

The forum rules (correctly) prevent Al from posting commercial messages here, so you need to contact him directly for further details… but you will be glad you did… ;)

In an overzealous effort to avoid tripping over the rules, we took the scenic route and stopped to smell the rosettes…

Break an unwritten rule and you'll end up on double secret probation.
