Location: South of most, North of few | Just picked up this Guild 12 string. 1979 F 212, mahogany back and sides, spruce top with a lovely burst. Not a mark on it, no fret wear,.. oh yeah, it sounds pretty good too. ;)

And that waist is extremely tight!
Is she wearing a corset?

Nice grab TJ |

Does that have dual truss rods? Yup, although I don't know the reasoning behind it. Just extra strength for the pull of a 12 string, or is it for adjusting side to side? |

They've gone away from that now that Ovation is building them. Problem was that it made the guitar too neck-heavy. I think they now use a single truss rod with two graphite reinforcements on either side of it.
Nice guitar, and nice photos. Definately WOW. |

I don't think Al is a Guild dealer "yet"!
He can correct me if I am wrong. |

Maybe not on the website yet, hardly anyone knows about it and might have just started to ship this week?
Possibly one that blew away every visitor to the recent factory tour?
Maybe OM size, bearclaw red spruce, all the trimmings, and only 10 of them in the US?
JUST SAYING ... |
