Location: Germany, where delicious wine is growing (Rheinh) | Hi, I've bourght last week this (bass)-guitar very cheap. It was in very good condition but with awful playability.
Some words to the history: I've owned an original B778, I've got from a friend of my brother,some time ago. I'm not a bassman so I sold it in winter to buy the 2009C. As it was gone I missed it and so I was looking for a substitude.
It is a B778TX-5 looking as for playing on inhumations. Sorry to say it in this way, but it is not my style of guitar.
So I put the strings away, cleaned it, and, inspired by OMA's Sweetwater Elite, he has for sale, I made an epaulet by myself from walnut, the template was my OWE 5858. The next procedure was a gloss finished neck, completed with gold tuners (Dave should now have a little smile on his face), but I also love gloss necks.
At least, I put two shims away, and made a neck adjustment and it plays like new.
Now it is finished, it sounds really nice, not extremly less to the original.

Location: Germany, where delicious wine is growing (Rheinh) | I think I've made 6 or 7 until I had one without a plemish. This one has 2 or 3 broken parts by gluing on the top, but in this case there was no way back.
Well, it is not inlayed, it is only glued on the the top.
