So I'm going into the airport and they have these display cases where they showcase the work of Connecticut artists.
Guess what was on display?
Inside the display were:
87C
An Adamas I cutaway
A Deluxe Balladeer shiny bowl (with a cool purple flames Elite T in the background)
A 1627 Glen Campbell (with a 2080 in the background)
A little timeline and tribute to Charlie
There was also a Custom Legend cutaway in there along with some brochures, etc.
There was another case dedicated to Guild Guitars ...
And finally there was a display for Hamer Guitars ...
Sorry for the crappy pictures. All I had available was my lame phone camera.
Gotta run and catch an airplane to Rochester ... |

No more shots of the Hamers??? Yup ... I got one more of the Hamers ...
I'm in the lovely City of Rochester now. Gotta love those prop plane rides! There is an upside ... my son is doing his college thing about 30 miles from here so I'm going out to see him tonight. Meetings tomorrow then it's off to Denver.
Actually, thye Guild display was pretty cool too. There were some blurbs about the historical significance. It speaks volumes as to the intentions there in New Hartford. I wish I got more pictures but I was running later than planned.
Not to worry Moody ... I'll be back through. There's money up here and I'm doing my best to separate it from people. ;) |

Man, I'm REALLY likin' those HAMERS! |

You've got to go the factory tour and see how they build those guitars. If you're a poser, buy a Gibson. If you're a player, buy a Hamer. 'nuff said. |
