Music Mike had to have another vocal chord surgical procedure last week. As a result of his followup today, after some tests, his surgeon believes that Mike will regain near 100% of his voice.
With this summer offering less than the best of news for many of our membership, I'm hoping that this is an harbinger of better times to come for us and ours!
Although Mike didn't request this post, I'm just tryin' to $ave $ome dime$ in spreading the good news.
To AJ, Patch and all others that are experiencing challenges, please take comfort from our love/concern and hang in there... |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Hi all...thanks so much for the good wishes...as Iffy reported, the Doc thinks it will be a complete recovery since the nerve is regenerating sooner than they thought...at least the wondering is over anyway...what a year...the trauma from last weeks surgery will still take around two weeks to heal but all seems to be moving in a positive direction at last...planning now to set up the studio again...have a great week everyone! :D |

Patch, how's that 'arm root'? I'm afraid it's hurting more than it should, and seems to be getting worse instead of better the last week or so. I may have pushed it a little too hard; what with oceans, lakes, water slides, and other recent "vacationy" activities. I have an appointment later this week to check it out. :) |
