As a former First Responder, IE, Police Officer, EMT, Volunteer Ambulance crew. I hope that the memory of the integrity, selflessness, of those that GO FIRST, will always be remembered in every persons prayers. I pray every day for the victims, of that day. I think of that day and remember all the times I ran into burning houses, jumped into rivers in the winter, and I am so proud of what our countries best of the best do everyday. In my life time that day will live in me. God Bless

And it's Eid ul-Fitr too. Time for reflection on many levels.

keep it non political and non religious and maybe this thread can maintain it's original intent and survive the day.
