Location: Boise, Idaho | Do we have "crooners" anymore? Although I wasn't a country fan, I liked Eddie and "Make the World Go Away." A nice guy who deserved a good life. |

He will be missed. |

Location: NJ | I remember my Dad had a great crooner's voice (which he never did anything with it). He used t'sing a lot of Eddie Arnold tunes around the house.
(And having only one TV, we had no choice but to watch the "Kraft Music Hour" on Sunday night (on which Eddie was a perennial) . . . |

Cliff, if he sang around the house, he did something with it. You got your voice from somewhere. I never thought my dad had a very good singing voice. I scare myself when I notice that as I get older I start sounding just like him.
I liked Eddy on that show. I'm trying to remember who else was a regular. Lots better than the junk on today. American Idol is the closest we get to a musical TV show. |

He was great on "Green Acres" I've heard that same exact line three times.
Laughed each time too.
My mom always said she was going to marry Eddy but chose my father instead. She always had Eddy, Roger Miller and Sonny James on. Dad was Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline and nothing else was even close to music in his opinion. |

The pig's name was still Arnold, right? |
