"Elmo got the best of the guy," Farrell said. "He broke two of his fingers."

"Elmo was unhurt,"

:D :D

Most folks in FLA still don't like anything they perceive as "Crimson".

There's a Guitar Center in Virginia Beach, I've never been to one, so I might head over there after lunch.
Maybe I'll finally get to play an Adamas :)

There's a Winter Park in Florida? I didn't think there was a winter anything down there. Ours is a ski town.

Winter Park, Winter Haven, Winter Springs - little towns that sprung up during the early land boom years in Flah, mostly now 'burbs of Orlando. Named that by the land sellers to evoke images in northerners' minds of a nice place to escape the snow. Better than calling them what they were - alligator-infested swamps where the mosquito clouds blocked out the sun.

Crimson - dang, I gotta start watching Sesame Street again.

It does get kinda cold in Florida from time to time.
Going from 105 degrees in the summer with all the humidity down to as low as the teens is stil cold.
Not Artic cold but cold nontheless.
I don't miss Florida a bit.
Well, maybe North Florida some :)

I have seen it snow in DeLand...

I knew that I had been in Miami too long when I was wearing a leather bomber jacket and a turtle-neck cuz it went down to 60.

But what was Elmo doing in Guitar Center anyway...

I remeber maybe 2 times in all the time I lived in Florida it snowed; once when I was about 5 in Gainesville (Northern FL), another time when I was about 7 in Fort Pierce (approx 120 miles South of Daytona on the East coast).
