BREAKING NEWS!!
ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka....
We have confirmed reports that the movers and shakers involved in the intense contract talks involving the proposed 2011 OFC Calender have reached an agreement!
ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka....
If you're thinking about buying that 2011 Lady GaGa calendar... stop.
If you're thinking it's to late to send in a photo.... stop.
If you are ready to green-up for a great cause and the absolutely BEST guitar calendar on the planet... DON'T STOP!!
Now.. about this PayPal thing... If you send the payment as a GIFT, PayPal does not take out their $2 fee. So... send the payment as a GIFT and help all our efforts more worthwhile.
Pics... I am soooo sick and tired of preaching on an on about picture size. You guys know the drill by now. If the picture is to small it won't have a snowballs chance of being used no matter how cool it is.
Send your BIG pics and GIFTS to... BPBDS at Comcast dot net
And lastly... The real talent and effort that makes this thing fly is our current OFC Member Of The Year... Designzilla.
I'm just the hustler standing under a lamp post on a foggy night, wearing a zoot suit, flipping a half-dollar saying.. "Hey der bub... ya wants to buys one of dem dare calinders???" |

Subverting the paypal system by lying is technically fraudulent; how much we rail over the international buyers who ask for a break on custom fees via sales price reductions and yet it's ok to just commit a "tiny" fraud?
Wouldn't it be better to just add the 3.5% fee to the price of the calendar on the front end? That way it's all nice and legal...
I get the feeling here that if no one knows it's OK?
I would rather pay the fee: upfront or included...
JMO...YMMV |

As far as PayPal.. I stand corrected, chastised and humbled by the good preacher. Send funds in the fashion you desire. |

| Yep, leave it to a preacher to remind us about fair and honest dealings.
Brad, payment on the way. I'll send Steve direct links to my pics.

All capitals or does in matter?
(I was in Iraq the last time these things came out and I was graciously allowed to write a check for mine when I got back to the States so I want to make absolutely sure I'm sending it to the right address) |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Payment sent! I really appreciate Brad doing this for the OFC...and my comments above were not directed in his direction but in a general sense...as for a "preacher reminding us", I'm a Dad first...and my parents were the ones who instilled right and wrong in me...
We are reminded time and again of how the Company is watching what goes on in these pages...and rightly so...
Looking forward to the calendar...
Thanks again Brad and Zilla!!! |

.
I've always concidered this more of a gift/donation than a purchase, but there are always different perspectives. |

Edit: Seems like the "gift-option" is indeed not possible in Germany. I'll just send 31 Bucks to cover the fees. |

Thanks gentlemen!... (and oh yeah, you too Wease) The days not over yet… ;)
I sent $31 as a "purchase" just to be sure we're on the straight and narrow… PayPal can take their cut…
…although I'm not really sure it's "cheating" PayPal to send it as a "Gift." Especially if you consider the calendar as a free thank-you gift for donating to support the (not-for-profit) OFC…
Whatever…
Slipkid, thanks again for being calendar point-man… |
