Just saw an ad from them and it actually has an Ovation (well the headstock anyway) in the photo.
I thought Ovations were supposed to be plastic pieces of junk?

I'm a mod over on the Gibson forum and trust me, I refute that comment often.

Hey Now! I buy crap from MF all the time.
They have 83 Ovation products listed, Including six Adamii...
Five 30th Anny and one ME.
Plus their share of Celebrity's and Applause Ukes.

:p Speaking of Plastic Pieces of Junk... I just took my Academy out for a Test Flight.
It sounded okay with the stick-on soundboard transducer pickup.
Unfortunately, None of the Ovation Lovers came by so that I could brag about the Plastic guitar.
It is still nice weather out...
But when it is 39 degrees and raining the Academy will do just fine!

I'd be curious to take the Academy on a dive and see what it sounds like at 30 feet.....Wonder what kind of an audience you could draw.

I just thought it was interesting to see an ad with one of our own on it that wasn't an Ovation ad.

Oh yeah, I saw a finger picking how-to book at the guitar store today (that doesn't have any Ovations except for a beat-up Matrix & Applause not on the seles floor) with Ovations on the cover.
A white Custom Legend, a burst Eleite and two othr round-holed O's.
The cover andthe book was interesting but not enough for $15.99
