Wasn't somebody here looking for an early A braced Legend a few weeks ago? This is a 1983 (the seller says it's an '85 but the serial number and stacked tone/volume controls say it's earlier) A braced Legend w/ a K-bar neck. Ought to be a wonderful guitar, and the price is right.

Wonderful guitars...I used the deep bowl model of that for many years: bought it in '83 and played it nearly every day and night for 6 years before going to an Elite 1868...I would like to find another one...let one get away last year on eBay...

Legend on the \'bay
Hey Moody,

That was probably me, or at least me trying to determine if the Legend I just got was one of the first A braced, in spite of the truss rod.

Turns out it is, but still 2 weeks before I get my hands on it and go nuts.

Going to borrow your quote to follow up on my other question regarding what makes an O valuable - or maybe it should have been, what are desirable features in an O.
