Location: Tuscany, Italy | Yesterday was held the very first mini OFC gathering in Tuscany.
We took advantage of the very nice weather and meet up.
My friend brought in two sweet guitars; a Legend and a Custom Legend both in sunburst.
I got in place my armada of nearly 11 Ovations and we had a lot of fan. Read the news here below ..... ;)
For those that doesn't know me, I'm the one on the right (with the glass in place).

Now there's an OFC gathering I would have loved to go to!
Tuscany is on my short list of places to go.
Maybe next time Riccardo! I'll come say hello to my old 1117 Deluxe Balladeer (still have it?) |

Location: Tuscany, Italy | Sure Damon, I still have that wonderful guitar. You know it is a VT braced but it sound terific. I just change the saddle with a compensated one and put on a Thomastik string set, also fixed a loose brace ... and it plays like a dream. Maybe it sound strange to someone but it has a more open and deep sound than my '80 legend. Could be the air of Tuscany? ? Who knows.... :)
@xnoel; HERE for more pics of me ;)
@BT717;
Yes just two of us. I'll post some pics soon.
Maybe one day we will arrenge a real Euro OFC gathering together with our friends from Germany, France, UK ..... |

Location: Jet City | I remember Mark really loving the tone of that one too. It has an ODD VT bracing unlike any others I've seen. The bracing in the upper bout especially.
I remember it being loud!
As for Tuscany, well... I must say, it's the wine of the region that's calling me! |

Location: Boise, Idaho | The wine is OK, the music is so-so, the art is great, but almost overwhelming, but taking the fanicular (tram) up to Montecatini Alto or to the top of Capri to share a glass on our last trip before our daughters left home was tough to beat. |

Location: Germany, where delicious wine is growing (Rheinh) | Hi Riccardo,
I was in Italy, too, the last week. Not in Tuscany, but you know, in the "Alto Adige", the Dolomits, having some days of wellness. It was fantastic.
That is a great idea with a Europian gathering, may be next year in summer. Hey guys here, any ideas???

It seems I've gone through over a hundred the last few years (and kept about 25 of 'em).
The search continues, but I've been craving wood recently as well as carbon fiber (see Al's re-issue post), so... Something's got to give... or I need to move into a bigger place. |
