How did it work out?
Anyone use an under saddle pickup with a direct line out? |

Location: Marlton, NJ | I had gotten one from somewhere... I don't remember. But it was the normal sized pick up, so it involved some routing out of the saddle channel... it was not easy and I did not do a very good job of it... The mothership cleaned it up (along with some other work that it needed). |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | I electrified a TC012 Trekker with an OP11 and an Artec PP607 undersaddle pickup.
Or you could just get an undersaddle p'up and an endpin jack to use an external preamp/EQ
I haven't used one of these Natural 1 systems yet.
I was gonna put this in a Morgan Monroe.
But I do know that the Artec p'ups are interchangeable with the standard Ovation thinlines. |

| There's a million aftermarket pups out there.
I like the Schattens that Temp sells.
Even if they are Canadian and have the blood of seal pups on them. |

I just used a Bill Lawrence sound hole pickup. It worked pretty good, except for the part where I said it would keep me from needing to buy any A/E Ovation. |

Location: cincinnati, ohio | Fishman SuperNatural undersaddle pickup on an original 1971 Balladeer acoustic, going direct to Roland AC-60 amp, or Peavey Ecoustic, depending on size of venue. Volume and tone controlled by amp. Only alteration to guitar is 1/4" jack in the bout. Sounds heavenly... |

Look at the Artec Piezos on Ebay. They'll connect to just about everything.
Buy an Idea kit and you can install now and swap out later for an OP Pro or studio later. |
