Thanks for posting this. I love to watch Sonny Landreth play, he has some crazy monster technique. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Clapton looks to be going retro beach. Affordable guitars. Creating quality videos with excellent sound from a live show is not an easy task. Thanks for the link, Mike. |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | He's playing a very nice Custom Shop Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster, Maple Fingerboard, Daphne Blue: $3,500.00 retail on the Fender Custom Shop Price list but at the big stores for $3800...not sure why the up-charge...although I have seen these in hardtail and blocked vibrato configurations so that may explain it. |

I suppose if you have nothing better to do with your money. I'd like to know how you justify charging that kind of price for what's basically a slab of wood with 3 pickups.
Nothing special in my eyes. |

Location: nashville | I seen Sonny many times with Hiatt and you just cant take your eyes off him when he gets going. Love the way he can play the slide and chord behind it at the same time. |

Location: Texas | +2 - I've seen Sonny play live, I don't know if he's GOD or possessed by the devil, but regardless, he sure can play, and with his own unique, fresh style and sound…
As for the artist formerly known as God (TAFKAG, isn't he a member here? ;) ) IMO, he's been in a rut for long time, but at least he can still legitimately claim that he was once called GOD… and he sure puts on a great guitar festival these days… |
