No, I'm still marriedly happy.

But I did have a couple of sweet Red guitars arrive a day ahead of schedule!

The GTX is a little tarnished but straight and should be a nice flavor in the Family.

The Trans Cherry VXT is sharp, all the way around. Really dissapointed to find out their time is done but very happy to have secured this one!

When you mentioned 'red', and I assumed 'guitar, for a horrible moment there, I thought you'd bought OMA's 'project'...

Nice. I'm still wondering if I should look for a VXT with the P90 style single coils. Can you really ever have enough back-up guitars?

I'm glad you got both of those, Mike, because I really wanted them. I can't justify buying another electric guitar for the 5 minutes a year I play plugged in. Once I get to that item on my bucket list, though, I'm going to find a red VXT and a red Viper.

No you can't

I've got a red project. An old Hurricane 12 string. Found the neck and body in a barn I'm helping my son clean out. It was my 12 string back in 1967. Those that can do the math will figure out this is the first hurricane. All the guts are gone but I do have a parts hurricane from the basement I cleaned out earlier. Hey, it's something to do till I hit the MvRunn South.....

Interesting project, Beal. Even with my diminutive hands, I find the Hurricane neck uncomfortably small and difficult to play. I can only imagine what you're going to do with it with your more manly fingers.

Yeah, it was a small 1 11/16 neck.
I never said I was going to play it, it's just that it's the first hurricane and should be restored.
Of course in checking the electronics from the other guitar they are Fahqued. At least I'm getting smart and checking them before fishing it all through the body. Another bad job for big fingers. So it will have to wait till Monday now. Time to go brush up the tunes for tonight anyway.
I actually had a doctor tell me once that I was lucky that I had him, of chineese decent, rather than his Polish partner. He said Chineese have very small thin fingers and Poles do not....and then proceded to demonstrate.

Those kind of red Vipers make nice garage queens. About as useful as an electric guitar is to me.

Prof - Yes, I'm setting all that aside until I have time to redo the tainted hardware.

Good call.

Nice looking pair.

What's a GTX?

There's no tag, label or model number on it that I can find. Does have a serial number sticker on the back of the headstock.
I just ordered a $50 hard case online for it to protect its beautiful Redness...

Dips when you decide to rotate it out of the inventory for something else :)

That thing would look sooo good next to my Gretsch Setzer Hot Rod Purple 6120!

I guess I need to offer Damon a bottle of wine to take some "Blanket Shots" so I can jack the price up! LOL

I should at least take an honest attempt at learning how to play it first.
