I wonder about players like this. Are they playing from pure memory (this finger this fret -then- that finger that fret), or do they work on instinct? Do they hear the note in their head and just know where to go to find it? |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I've heard there are guitar players that can actually read music and play it on guitar. Not tabs, not little drawings of chords, but notes on a staff.
I assume it's possible, because I've seen people do it with pianos, horns, reeded instruments and other stringed instruments, but never with a guitar. |
