Just got this one together tonight. I need to tweak a little (adjust rod, shim saddle) but it's pretty much done. It's a '73 1617 Legend with the 1621 Artist neck I got from RNickels. The neck's heel was shorter so I grafted a piece onto the end cap. I need to buff that area a little. No idea what year the neck is but the preamp RNickels threw in is a '78.

Sounds like crap right now but the action is too low and the B and E strings are hitting the bridge behind the (too low) saddle. Sometimes that's a tone killer. Or maybe it just needs to be played a bit.

I'm a BIG fan of the foil labels.
One of the factors I considered when I bought my Folklore. The other factor was, I wanted a Folklore.

Good job on the heel. Nobody would ever notice.
