Location: north coast ohio | Although I check quite often,have been searching a long time for that bracing profile. is the X 90'?
Had a neighbor in fl late 60's with balladeer and have never forgot that sound, no bridge plate shirley (RIP Nielsen) contributes that sound along with bottom cross brace to balance things out . Maybe just the way I remember it, but haven't heard another O that has matched that sound |

Location: Caribou, ME | Well, there are 16 Os and As in this house and I can say none of them sound like this. I won't say it's better or worse, but it's different. I'm hopeful the refret will bring the neck into submission. |

Location: north coast ohio | the bracing pattern seesquare shows is the one I have found on most of my early O finds. Looks like leftover helioblade epoxy for X brace re-enforcement vs what looks like a wood patch on original braced. |
