He checked his Martin Dreadnaught to the airline in a soft leather case.
And he complained when it got damaged!!! |

Live and learn.
Still fun.

Location: 6 String Ranch | Yes, That was funny and very entertaining. In some ways songs like that are harder to do than your regular "real musical, verse chorus etc" ones.
Of course it does rub a bit the wrong way to have the guitar I asked to be shiped overnight on Thursday so I could have it Fridary, now sitting in Philly after going ground from Virginia to Baltimore to Philly. Then again, maybe they are flying it. Like we used to say in the airline business, "Time to spare? Go by air"

He's still at it, and he still puts on a great show…
…just don't ask him to play "Dead Skunk." ;) |

Let's wait on the shipping damage, I guess I was jumping the gun
Guess I'll just go write a song
Waiting on UPS
They're giving me, much distress
Only a few more days I guess
I'm waiting on Fahken UPS

Most airlines you buy a ticket, on Delta you buy a chance.....

But none of the shippers are consistently dependable everywhere, so, sadly, things are bound to get screwed up on one end or the other, (if not both)… But, given a choice; "better late than broken"…
With the holiday volume and cold weather, this is an even more nerve-wracking time to ship/receive guitars…
I think we can all sympathize with your situation Beal. Good Luck, I hope your song has a happy ending… |
