So, AJ helps me out by snaffling a 12 string Adamas II that I can pay off (everytime SWMBO feels guilty about a shoe purchase, I use that guilt to send a similar amount of money to AJ).

It's a 1983 Bluege 1685 and which has had the neck replaced with a non-standard neck (photos of that later). The original neck came with the purchase and has major fret wear and pot holes:

(Sorry about the size of these, I'm at work and this is the best I can do).

So Andrew, who is at the get together and a bit of a Wizz with things technical, offers to take the neck and replace the frets and fill the pot holes. During:

and after:

But as an extra, he has a go at fixing the broken ear (which I hadn't even noticed, being unrelated to playability). Before:

During:

And after:

Don'tcha just find the nicest people here?

Hard to see what you're doing here. Can you blow up the photos just a bit? Seriously, that's about the worst fret wear I've ever seen. Nice work on the paddle repair.

Richard... Seriously, sort out your photo uploading techniques or post from home.
You're giving us Mac users a bad name.
There goes my download allocation for December...

Nice repair work...one suggestion: a GPS and coordinates would work great for locating the parts of the picture supporting the repair...lol
